[353] Northern Neck News, Febuary 15, 1935
In sweet, but sad memory of my dear and only sister, Virbinia
Balderson FONES, who departed this life to be reunited with our loved
ones, sisters and father, who have preceded her in previous years.
Blessed are those who die in the Lord, for they shall inherit the
Kingdon of God. Her passing away so suddenly was unexpedted, though
she had gone to Albuquerque, New Mexico, for her health, where she
died on Wednesday, January 2, 1935, after a short stay there. Born
September 5, 1905, age 29. Her remains were interred in Gibeon
Baptist Chruch cemetery, where she had been a member since very young,
among a large concourse of friends and relatives who mourned her
departure. She was lovingly laid to rest on Sunday afternoon, January
6th. She leaves a husband, Herbert L. FONES, of Warsaw, and mother,
Mrs. Dollie L. BALDERSON, and brothers, James R. BALDERSON, of
Chicago, Illinois, Leroy E. BALDERSON, Baltimore, Leonard I.
BALDERSON, Harry HOGAN, and sister, Eva B. AGRAFIOTIS, Washington.
Her four brothers, and W. Y. Morgan and O. K. Hale, Jr., acted as
pallbearers. The young girls of her vicinity acted as the honorary
pallbearers. We shall miss you dear sister wherever we go, through we
know that in death there's peace, but your suffering and sorrows of
life it is o'er, yet in our hearts of memory of thee shall never
cease. Her loving sister, Eva AGRAFIOTIS.
Location of birth and death provided by her cousin Dal Mal Mallory
