BIO:John Fones settled in the Northern Neck area of VA. during the 1690's.
His wife's name is unknown at this time, He had a son named Thomas
It looks like John FONES came up from the Isle of Wight CO., VA. as
there is a will written by a Matthew FONES, dated 1703 that he list a
son by the name of John FONES, who had a son by the name of Thomas
FONES. The other people mentioned in the will are Matthew's wife
Abigail and his other children, Robert, Thomas and Mary FONES. A
family friend, Ann BENNET is also named in the will.
