married in Washingtion Wednesday afternoon August the 5th. Rev. LAWSON
of the Baptist Church officiated. Mr. and Mrs. FONES, motored here
and spent a short visit with their loved ones in Westmoreland. Their
many friends here wish them a bright and pleasant voyage over
the matrimonal seas. Mr. and Mrs. FONES will reside in Washington
city, where Mr. FONES has a good position. A serenade was given at
the parental home of the bride Thursday night, with many taking plart
in the merry making.
