Wilton Wood FONES, 70, a former car salesman who owned and operated
Bill's Service Center in Hyattsville for 24 years, died of cancer
April 20 at Doctors Hospital in Lanham. Mr. FONES, who lived in Silver
Spring, was born in Baltimore. During World War II, he served in the
Navy. He moved to the Washington area 35 years ago, and he retired
last year because of illness. His marriage to Elizabeth FONES ended in
Divorce, and his second wife, Eunice V. FONES, died in 1994
Survivors include three daughters from his second marriage, Belinda
KALOMERIS of Frederick, Md., Pamela Sue FONES of Waldorf and Melisa
Lane FONES of Silver Spring; three sons from his first marriage,
Donald M. FONES and David B. FONES, both of Silver Spring and Gary
FONES of North Carolina; his mother, Cora V. BROOME of Florida; a
brother, Ronnie FONES of Cheverly; and two grandchildren.
